Cindy Brazell Honored with Distinguished Leader Award by Daily Report

ATLANTA (June 24, 2020) –  Holland & Knight Partner Cindy Brazell was honored with a Distinguished Leader Award by the Daily Report on June 24 during its annual Georgia Legal Awards ceremony. The award recognizes lawyers who achieved impressive results in 2019 and demonstrated clear leadership skills that helped them achieve those results.

Ms. Brazell is the co-chair of Holland & Knight's Financial Services Practice Group, which is the largest stand-alone transactional practice group in the firm. She joined the firm in 2017 and quickly established herself as one of the firm's most prolific dealmakers.

Ms. Brazell's practice focuses on complex domestic and international commercial and banking transactions. She has extensive experience representing banks and other financial institutions and borrowers in leveraged finance, real estate finance, asset-based lending, and other secured and unsecured lending transactions.

Two of her standout deals in 2019 include her representation of Capital One Healthcare in a Sharia compliant acquisition and construction loan for the acquisition and development of a senior housing facility in Florida. She also represented White Oak Healthcare Finance as administrative agent in a $230 million term loan facility to finance the acquisition of a portfolio of 32 senior nursing facilities.
