Holland & Knight's Lara M. Rios Named "Best Finance Lawyer" in Latin America by Euromoney at Women in Business Law Awards

MIAMI (September 22, 2020) – Lara M. Rios, a partner in Holland & Knight's Miami and New York offices, was named "Best Finance Lawyer in Latin America" by Euromoney Legal Media Group at its Women in Business Law 2020 Americas Awards virtual ceremony on September 17.

The awards recognize the outstanding achievements of women in more than 30 different practice areas in business law from across Americas. These are individuals who stand out as leaders amongst their peers and who have been instrumental to innovative approaches in their field.

Ms. Rios is a member of Holland & Knight's Financial Services and Latin America teams. She represents a wide range of lenders, corporate borrowers, project developers and private equity sponsors in cross-border and domestic financing transactions, with a focus on the energy/infrastructure industry and Latin America. In 2019, Ms. Rios was named a "Top Lawyer Under 40" by the Hispanic National Bar Association and a Most Effective Lawyer in International Transactions by the Daily Business Review. Earlier this year, Law360 named her a Rising Star in Project Finance.
