Holland & Knight Represents Hall’s Warehouse Corporation in $480 Million Sale to Americold Realty Trust
PHILADELPHIA (November 12, 2020) – Holland & Knight advised Hall's Warehouse Corporation in the company's $480 million sale to Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD), the world's largest publicly traded REIT focused on the ownership, operation, acquisition and development of temperature-controlled warehouses. The deal closed on November 2.
Hall's Warehouse Corporation is based in South Plainfield, New Jersey, and maintains a portfolio of eight warehouse facilities in Northern New Jersey totaling 58 million cubic feet and 200,000 pallet positions. Hall's also provides transportation services to support its 220 warehouse customers.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Americold owns and operates 185 temperature-controlled warehouses, with over 1 billion refrigerated cubic feet of storage, in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Argentina. The Hall's portfolio complements Americold's current and growing footprint in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets.
