Holland & Knight Advises SkyKnight Capital on Investment in NearU Services

SAN FRANCISCO (January 6, 2021) – Holland & Knight represented SkyKnight Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, in its substantial investment in NearU Services, a leading home services platform for essential maintenance, repair and replacement services. The deal was announced on Jan. 6.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, NearU is a home services platform for market-leading HVAC, plumbing and electrical service companies. NearU founder and CEO, Ashish Achlerkar, will remain fully invested and continue executing on NearU's unique home services vision and mission, accelerated by SkyKnight's financial and strategic resources.

Founded in 2015, SkyKnight Capital manages over $1.5 billion in private equity capital on behalf of leading institutional family offices, foundations and endowments.
