Holland & Knight Promotes Four New Partners in Latin America Offices

MIAMI (August 17, 2021) – Holland & Knight has named four new partners in the firm's Bogotá, Colombia, and Mexico City offices. The promotions of Inés Elvira Vesga Gaviria and María Juliana Saa Hoyos in Bogotá and Eugenio Grageda Nuñez and Leslie Palma in Mexico City were effective on Aug. 3. They work on complex domestic and cross-border matters in their respective markets and throughout the Americas with a focus on the Latin America region. All of the lawyers were previously senior counsel.

With these promotions, the firm will have 13 partners in Mexico and nine partners in Colombia. Overall, Holland & Knight's Latin America Practice has more than 170 professionals offering a full range of services to clients engaged in business in Latin America.

New Partner Profiles

María Juliana Saa Hoyos focuses her practice on the areas of corporate services, financial transactions, capital markets and commercial law. She is involved in important project finance and structured finance transactions in Colombia and focuses primarily on energy and infrastructure.

Eugenio Grageda Nuñez focuses his practice in the areas of international tax and estate tax planning. He is experienced in dealing with the tax aspects of corporate reorganizations, investment vehicles and financing structures at a domestic and international level.

Leslie Palma has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on employment matters in the corporate sector, including on transactions concerning individual and collective bargaining labor procedures. She also is well versed in labor and employment due diligence for domestic and foreign companies.

Inés Elvira Vesga Gaviria focuses her practice on the oil and gas sector as well as corporate and commercial law. She is well versed in advising national and foreign clients in the oil and gas, energy and natural resources sectors. Ms. Vesga has more than 18 years of experience advising on corporate, commercial, regulatory issues, oil and gas projects and other complex corporate negotiations involving petroleum agreements.
