Holland & Knight Advises IDB Invest on $300 Million Financing for Banco de Galicia in Argentina

NEW YORK (December 22, 2025) – Holland & Knight advised Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) on the financing, with the participation of other entities, to Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A., for an amount of up to $300 million. The financing structure includes an A tranche of $150 million financed by IDB Invest and a B tranche of $150 million to be financed by institutional investors and parallel loans. The transaction was announced on December 1.

This financing will enable Banco Galicia to expand access to financing for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and for sustainable projects in Argentina.
