Holland & Knight Welcomes Tax Partner Kyle Wingfield in Richmond
Richmond, Va. (May 20, 2026) – Holland & Knight has strengthened its Tax, Executive Compensation and Benefits Practice Group with the addition Kyle Wingfield as a partner in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Wingfield, who currently serves as chair of the Virginia Bar Association's Tax Section, will also be a key member of the Firm's State and Local Tax (SALT) Team. Before joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Wingfield was a partner at Williams Mullen.

Mr. Wingfield provides full-service representation to publicly traded companies, privately held businesses and their owners on federal, state and local tax matters. He regularly advises clients on complex transactional matters, planning opportunities and tax controversies involving income taxes, sales and use taxes, and business license and personal property taxes. Mr. Wingfield also defends clients in federal and state tax audits, administrative hearings and litigation.

Mr. Wingfield is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) SALT Executive Committee and the managing editor for the ABA SALT newsletter Connexus. Mr. Wingfield is regularly listed among Virginia Business magazine's "Legal Elite" and The Best Lawyers in America for Tax Law.
Mr. Wingfield earned an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina.
