Holland & Knight's Dallas Office Honored by Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts

DALLAS (May 4, 2026) – Holland & Knight's Dallas office was recognized as the 2026 Revolutionary Award Honoree for its consistent and generous support of the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts community for almost 20 years.

Each year, the school's Advisory Board honors a "Revolutionary" who took the time, invested the energy and believed in the institution.

In an effort that began at Thompson & Knight (which combined with Holland & Knight in 2021), each year the Firm awards $5,000 to four seniors at the school – one in each conservatory – via a rigorous nomination and selection process. This marks the 17th year that these prestigious scholarships have been awarded, with a total of $340,000 given to support talented students at the high school, located across the street from the Firm's Dallas office at One Arts Plaza. In addition, the Firm regularly provides meeting support and space for the school at its office, while also providing pro bono resources for the school community and its board.

The Revolutionary Award was given to Holland & Knight on April 24 at the Flying Horse Show, an event that showcases talent at the high school. The high school's team also came to Holland & Knight's Dallas office for a lunch and learn session filled with music and insights about the school, as well as presented the award in person to Scott Wallace, the executive partner of the Dallas office, and litigation Partner Greg Curry, a current and longtime advisory board member at the school.

"Our Firm is deeply honored to work alongside Booker T. Washington High School, supporting and celebrating the incredible talent and dedication found within its community for nearly two decades," Mr. Curry said. "This partnership began at Thompson & Knight and continued seamlessly after it combined with Holland & Knight in 2021, and we are proud that our commitment and contributions help nurture numerous artists and performers at the school each and every year."
