Holland & Knight Advises Lenders on COP$1.48 Trillion Financing for the Accesos Norte Fase II Concession Project in Colombia

BOGOTÁ (September 25, 2026) – Holland & Knight advised Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional S.A. (FDN), J.P. Morgan Securities PLC and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) on the financing of Accesos Norte Fase II, one of Colombia's most significant fifth-generation concession projects. The estimated investment total reached COP$1.48 trillion (approximately US$480 million) and closed on September 10.

The Accesos Norte Fase II project represents a landmark milestone for Colombia's infrastructure development. The financing, which was structured in two debt tranches, will enable the transformation of one of the most strategic transportation corridors in Bogotá and Cundinamarca. The project's scope includes the expansion of the Autopista Norte highway, the development of a second carriageway along Carrera Séptima, new road connections, public transit infrastructure, bicycle lanes and pedestrian spaces that will benefit millions of people across the region.
