Jiyeon K. Barta is a tax attorney in Holland & Knight's Orlando office. Ms. Barta focuses her practice on corporate and federal income taxation matters, providing clients with tax advice relating to corporate transactions, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing matters.

Ms. Barta is experienced in structuring taxable and tax-free transactions for a wide range of clients, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies, private companies, public companies and family-owned businesses.

In addition, Ms. Barta negotiates acquisition agreements, operating agreements, representation and warranty policies and other transaction agreements, as well as advises on other tax issues relating to M&A and reorganizations.
