Jason H. Baruch is an attorney in the Tampa office of Holland & Knight. Mr. Baruch is a Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation attorney.

Mr. Baruch focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. Mr. Baruch's practice also includes creditors' rights, disputes in the maritime and transportation industry, and disputes involving low-income housing tax credits. He represents large institutional clients in a wide range of complex litigation at the federal and state level. Mr. Baruch has experience advising clients on business disputes, contract disputes and analysis, lender disputes, healthcare litigation, business tort disputes, government contract litigation, shareholder and noncompete agreements, intellectual property misappropriation, commercial maritime matters, creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters, data privacy litigation, and securities cases. In the appellate area, he has handled complex appeals at the state and federal level, including the Second, Third, Fourth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits.   • Defended a surgery center and obtained a final summary judgment on all counts on claims alleging failure to submit patient bills to the insurance company

  • Obtained a judgment for a marine manufacturer plaintiff for the assignment of patent rights and a permanent injunction against a company that sought to misappropriate intellectual property rights relating to complex industrial machinery
  • Defended a medical practice in a multimillion-dollar contract and lease dispute, resulting in a successful verdict at arbitration
  • Represented a marine manufacturer plaintiff in an intellectual property misappropriation case and obtained an injunction against the defendants ordering compliance with a commercial confidentiality agreement
