Overview
Joe Fernandez is an attorney with Holland & Knight's Nashville office and a member of the firm's Private Wealth Services Group. Mr. Fernandez brings a decade of practice experience in various areas of tax law and tax planning, such as estate and succession planning, business interest valuations, charitable planning, split-dollar insurance planning and installment sales of ownership interests in various family business entities. Mr. Fernandez's practice also covers premarital planning, the preparation and filing of various IRS forms (including estate tax returns and annual gift tax returns), qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and cash flow forecasting and planning for multiple generations of clients, their families, their trusts and their various business entities.
Mr. Fernandez focuses on facilitating the development and implementation of his clients and their families' goals and objectives, whether it be on a financial, philanthropic or personal level. Mr. Fernandez truly enjoys seeing the passion for a family legacy being passed down from one generation to the next.
Within his community, Mr. Fernandez enjoys volunteering with organizations such as Compassionate Hands and programs like Meals Under The Bridge, initiatives that help uplift and comfort those in the Middle Tennessee area that are experiencing temporary residential displacement.
