Overview
Renée Gauthier is a data privacy advisor in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the Data Strategy, Security & Privacy Team. With a passion for simplifying and scaling programs and processes in the artificial intelligence (AI) and privacy space, Ms. Gauthier supports clients across the retail, telecommunications, business services and digital entertainment industries to coordinate data breach incident response, improve and standardize compliance documentation and manage ongoing privacy programs.
Ms. Gauthier holds a Six Sigma White Belt certification.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Gauthier spent a decade working in the technology industry, where she excelled in explaining, simplifying, automating and scaling complex processes. Her privacy work focused on employer privacy obligations, and she engaged with employee works councils across several European countries and dozens of individual worksites. Her background in technical writing increased the quality and delivery speed for large volumes of privacy impact assessments (PIAs). She also worked cross-functionally with teams across organizations, geographies and industries, helping ensure compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy laws.
Previously, Ms. Gauthier worked on technical documentation and programs related to machine learning.
