Overview
Chase Germann is a public affairs advisor in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Public Policy & Regulation Group. Mr. Germann works on policy issues related to labor, economic and infrastructure development, tribal self-governance, artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, climate change, outer space, the armed forces and foreign affairs.
Mr. Germann cultivates a deep understanding of federal policy in order to provide the best possible information, strategies and engagement tools to accomplish objectives for tribal, nonprofit and private-sector clients. He guides clients through the federal policymaking process and advises on the impacts of congressional and executive actions. Mr. Germann utilizes his research experience and technical understanding to provide key details and information to achieve client results.
In addition, Mr. Germann has a significant background in political campaigning, providing him with in-depth knowledge of the on-the-ground factors that can influence political campaigns.
Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, Mr. Germann served as a campaign organizer in Duluth, Minnesota, where he spoke to voters, conducted in-person and phone-based outreach, led and organized events, and coordinated voter engagement strategies. He also worked for a Native American-owned full-service creative and media agency and managed the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe's online newspaper, The Inaajimowin. Previously, he was first an intern, then a legislative assistant, in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office, where he assisted the Native American Law Team.
