Overview
Cory Hartstein is an attorney in Holland & Knight's West Palm Beach office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Hartstein handles a wide range of matters in federal and state courts, and he frequently litigates matters involving complex civil and commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense and the prosecution of emergency injunctions to protect businesses from the misuse of confidential and trade secret business information.
Mr. Hartstein's practice also encompasses litigating complex healthcare fraud schemes on behalf of insurers, as well as assisting in national corporate investigative efforts to identify fraudulent conduct and behavior.
In the community, Mr. Hartstein is active in the Palm Beach County Bar Association and advocates for pro bono clients through the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
While in law school, Mr. Hartstein served as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida in the Civil Division, where he worked in the General Litigation and Health Care Fraud/Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) units. He also participated in the school's Health Rights Clinic, where he represented indigent clients in administrative hearings, and was an active member of the trial team and competed in numerous competitions throughout the country.
