Overview
Taylor Herpin is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Austin office. Mr. Herpin counsels real estate developers, investors, homebuilders and lenders on complex commercial real estate transactions and land development matters in Texas and throughout the United States.
Mr. Herpin guides clients through the full life cycle of real estate purchase, sale and leasing transactions. His work includes negotiating and structuring transactions, drafting contracts, conducting due diligence, reviewing title and survey matters, resolving title issues and managing transactions through closing or final agreement execution. He also advises on land use and zoning matters, including public and private development agreements and challenges involved in obtaining development approvals from local permitting authorities.
As part of his real estate practice, Mr. Herpin also forms, structures and prepares corporate documents for real estate holding companies, development joint ventures and other related entities.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Herpin practiced as a real estate and land use lawyer in the Austin offices of a national law firm and a prominent local real estate boutique.
