Overview

Kathleen Hogaboom is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Century City office. Ms. Hogaboom's practice focuses on sophisticated real estate transactions, including the representation of private and institutional investors, and owners and developers in connection with the acquisition, development and financing of residential and commercial real estate properties. Ms. Hogaboom's practice also has an emphasis on the negotiation and structuring of complex commercial leases.

Ms. Hogaboom's experience includes a wide range of asset types, including land for residential planned community development and retail, research and development and office properties.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Hogaboom was an attorney for a boutique national real estate law firm in Los Angeles.

  • Representation of a residential real estate developer in the sale of more than 1,800 residential lots in a master-planned community
  • Representation of a residential real estate developer in the sale of more than 1,500 residential lots in a master-planned community
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the ground lease and development of a 240-acre, mixed-use commercial project on Native American land
  • Representation of a private builder in the formation of numerous joint ventures with various institutional investors focused on the acquisition and development of residential real property and construction of single and multifamily dwelling units
  • Representation of an institutional commercial landlord in the leasing of approximately 300,000 square feet of office space to a single high-tech tenant
  • Representation of an institutional commercial landlord in the leasing of more than 185,000 square feet of office/research and development (R&D) space to a single alternative energy tenant
  • Representation of an institutional commercial landlord in the leasing of a large office portfolio
  • Representation of an institutional commercial landlord in the lease-up of a 350,000-square-foot suburban office project
