Overview

Emily A. Kaiser is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office. Ms. Kaiser advises public and private companies as well as investment firms on a variety of corporate matters, with a focus on emerging companies, venture financings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance.

Ms. Kaiser's experience includes the formation, conversion and dissolution of a variety of entities, the sale and acquisition of privately held companies and general corporate governance of a wide range of corporate structures.

While in law school, Ms. Kaiser served as an intern for the Honorable David A. Lowy of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court as well as a summer associate and legal clerk for Holland & Knight and an intern for a Boston-based national healthcare startup raising its Series B financing. Ms. Kaiser also served as the head research assistant for the Center of Health Law and Policy at Northeastern University School of Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Kaiser worked for large international technology companies building digital engineering practices and product management methodology. She was charged with the management of global teams serving Fortune 100 clients from eight industry verticals (namely financial, healthcare and insurance) throughout the North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. At each of these companies, Ms. Kaiser also spearheaded the inception and leadership of Women's Empowerment efforts, creating networks and curriculum for company leadership and mentoring.
