Emily Kaiser

Emily A. Kaiser is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office. Ms. Kaiser represents clients in a variety of corporate and transaction matters and primarily focuses her practice on advising emerging growth companies, venture capital investors, private equity funds and other strategic investors.

Ms. Kaiser counsels clients across the full corporate life cycle – from formation and financing through exit – and regularly serves as outside general counsel, providing strategic business advice that aligns legal strategy with operational goals. Her experience spans entity formation, venture financings, debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance, with a particular emphasis on structuring and negotiating complex and customized transactions for high-growth companies and their investors.

Ms. Kaiser is an active member of Holland & Knight's Emerging Company and Venture Capital Committee, as well as the Boston office's Associates Committee, where she helps shape Holland & Knight initiatives and practice development.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Kaiser serves as an adjunct professor at Boston College, where she has taught a Law for the Entrepreneur course since 2022. Outside her legal practice, Ms. Kaiser is deeply engaged in the startup community, working with organizations that aim to bridge gaps in access to knowledge and education around early-stage investing and company building.

Prior to law school, Ms. Kaiser worked for large international technology companies building digital engineering practices and product management methodology. She managed global teams serving Fortune 100 clients across eight industry verticals throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. At each of these companies, Ms. Kaiser also spearheaded the inception and leadership of Women's Empowerment efforts, creating networks and curriculum for company leadership and mentoring.
