Overview

Aron Karabel is an accomplished litigator and labor lawyer in Holland & Knight's Nashville office. Mr. Karabel has established a reputation among Fortune 500 companies as a trusted resource for employment litigation and traditional labor matters. He serves clients in a variety of industries – such as manufacturing, automotive, technology, hospitality, telecommunications, retail, financial services and healthcare – and has successfully litigated matters in federal and state courts and before various arbitrators and public agencies.

Mr. Karabel has significant experience in labor relations, including complex contract negotiations, disciplinary proceedings and grievance administration. He has successfully defended nationwide clients subject to unfair labor practice claims before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and various appellate courts.

Mr. Karabel also has a robust practice defending clients against wage and hour claims before the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), against safety citations before the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and against charges of discrimination and/or retaliation before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and various state agencies.

Additionally, Mr. Karabel advises on and litigates nationwide restrictive covenants and has successfully prosecuted and defended against temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions across multiple jurisdictions. Clients have also benefited from training programs developed by Mr. Karabel on matters relating to employment policies, harassment, discrimination and other day-to-day issues faced by employers.
