Kris Kearney


Kris Kearney is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office, where he focuses his practice on real estate and real estate finance matters. Mr. Kearney has represented a wide variety of clients in various real estate transactions, including the representation of purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and sale of raw land, entitled land, developed and improved land, and condominium units; landlords and tenants in the negotiation of commercial leases and subleases; and office coworking businesses in the drafting of license agreements with clients.

Mr. Kearney has also serviced developers and other property owners by creating residential, commercial and mixed-use condominium regimes; establishing covenants, conditions and restrictions for residential subdivisions; and forming homeowners' associations and other property owners' associations for a variety of projects with various uses.

In addition, Mr. Kearney represents lenders and borrowers in connection with lending transactions secured by or involving real property, including retail, office and multifamily projects.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Kearney represented a wide range of clients that included private developers, landlords, tenants, homeowners, municipalities and other semi-governmental entities, and school districts, as well as other private and public entities. His practice was focused in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Houston and Austin, and included projects in Texas counties such as Dallas, Harris, Travis, Collin, Denton, Tarrant, Grayson, Kaufman and Fannin.
