Overview
Farris Matariyeh is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office, where he focuses his practice on intellectual property (IP) litigation matters. Mr. Matariyeh's work includes representing global clients in complex IP disputes, including patent litigation, as well as IP due diligence and licensing.
Mr. Matariyeh represents clients in diverse fields such as medical products, consumer electronics, telecommunications and automotives. He has also represented clients in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Matariyeh was an attorney at a global law firm in its Chicago office, focusing his practice on patent litigation.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Matariyeh worked for a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company, conducting research and development for groundbreaking drug delivery methods and products. His prior role as a biomedical engineer lends directly to his advocacy for his medical clients in patent litigation and other IP matters.
