Joseph Patrick Harold Metzger

Joseph Metzger is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance and general corporate matters.

Mr. Metzger counsels a wide range of clients – from local companies to multinational corporations – across various industries, including private equity, manufacturing, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, government services and technology.

Mr. Metzger has experience representing leading investment banks, institutional investors, commercial banks and corporations in connection with public and private capital markets transactions. His experience includes debt, equity and high-yield offerings, mezzanine financings, bank financings, syndicated institutional loans, asset-backed loans, tender offers and consent solicitations, as well as acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, going-private transactions, recapitalizations, project financings, bridge lending and loan commitments, and out-of-court restructurings.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Metzger practiced law at a Florida-based firm, where he represented business entities, private equity funds and entrepreneurs on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, corporate governance, commercial contracts and strategic business planning. Previously, he practiced law at a major international law firm in New York.
