Overview

Evan Taylor is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Construction Industry Practice Group. Mr. Taylor focuses his practice on construction litigation and transactional matters.

Mr. Taylor represents owners, contractors, design professionals and developers in disputes involving breach of contract, construction defects, project delays, and related insurance and liability issues. In addition, he has experience negotiating and drafting design and construction agreements.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Taylor was an attorney at a Northern Virginia construction law boutique, where he supported national construction and real estate clients in complex disputes. Previously, he worked in-house as a legal intern for a national general contractor.

While in law school, Mr. Taylor served as the chair of arbitration competitions for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and a research editor for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Taylor worked as a project engineer for a construction and development firm in South Florida, which provided him with practical insight into construction projects.

Not admitted to District of Columbia Bar; admitted to Virginia Bar only and practicing under supervision of lawyers licensed to practice in District of Columbia.
