Diego Villarreal

Diego Villarreal is a corporate services attorney in Holland & Knight's Denver office and a member of the firm's Corporate Services Team. Mr. Villarreal focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, debt finance and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Villarreal gained experience with corporate transactional matters through his work as a summer associate in the firm's Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group. Mr. Villarreal also gained experience servicing clients and maintaining productive relationships through his decade-long career in the insurance industry.

While in law school, Mr. Villarreal was a student attorney in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he worked with local entrepreneurs and provided a variety of legal services. Additionally, Mr. Villarreal served as president of the LatinX Law Student Association (LLSA) and was a founding member of the school's Council for Racial Justice and Equity. Upon graduation, he earned a certificate of entrepreneurial law, which is awarded to students who complete a business law curriculum focused on transactional coursework. Mr. Villarreal's experience and background allow him to strive to produce quality results for clients and also champion diversity and inclusion efforts in his community.
