Overview
Mary Martha Willson is a public affairs advisor in Holland & Knight's Nashville office. Ms. Willson focuses her practice on government relations at the state and local levels in Tennessee and Nashville, assisting clients with legislative and public policy engagement.
Ms. Willson provides strategic guidance to private and public sector clients seeking to advance their agendas, drawing on her government relations, communications and issue management experience. A registered lobbyist, she brings substantial knowledge of state government affairs and Tennessee's legal, business and policy environment to advocate effectively for clients.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight and while in law school, Ms. Willson was a member of the government relations team at a Nashville law firm. For two years, she focused on alcohol distribution expansion in the state, environmental regulation for several counties, and worked on resolutions for corporate tax increases. Through these experiences, Ms. Willson developed foundational connections with Tennessee leaders and stakeholders across the state.
