Holland & Knight Expands Intellectual Property Practice Into Texas With Hiring of Robert S. Hill

DALLAS (April 27, 2017) – Intellectual property lawyer Robert S. Hill has joined Holland & Knight’s Dallas office as a partner. He was previously of counsel with Quinn Emanuel in Los Angeles.

Mr. Hill, who began his career in Dallas, is moving his practice to Holland & Knight where he will be the firm’s first intellectual property lawyer in Texas.

Mr. Hill focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex patent cases involving a wide variety of technologies. He has experience representing innovator pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigation. Mr. Hill also has experience advising clients on a broad range of intellectual property transactional issues, including patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret licenses. Mr. Hill further has experience with venture capital, private equity and aircraft finance transactions.

Mr. Hill received his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. He received his A.B. degree in biology from Harvard University.
