Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements: A Look at the Inside Game

Government Contracts Partner David Black will speak at the National Contract Management Association Potomac Chapter monthly meeting titled "Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements: A Look at the Inside Game."

Mr. Black will discuss the implications of seemingly boilerplate clauses that parties too often take for granted in the negotiation of teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements. He will also address how seemingly small tweaks in the language can broadly shift leverage and risk down the road. The following topics will be discussed:

• award of a subcontract if the team is successful
• addressing key subcontract terms in the teaming agreement
• use, disclosure and ownership of proprietary data exchanged by the parties
