This session got rave reviews at the 2011 Conference and will provide an overview of social media, what it is, and legal issues that arise through its use. The discussion will include employment law issues, defamation, intellectual property, testimonials/ endorsements, and federal regulations, with particular emphasis on HIPAA compliance and health care related case studies. Key topics to include in employer policies, privacy policies, and terms of use will also be discussed.
