The ABCs of Real Estate and Corporate Due Diligence Regarding Environmental Conditions

Environment Partner Amy Edwards will participate in a webinar on the basics of environmental due diligence in real estate and corporate transactions for the American Bar Association's (ABA) Section of Environment, Energy & Resources Law (SEER) Essentials series.

Ms. Edwards and fellow panelists will identify which environmental issues and hidden related liabilities typically must be dealt with in such transactions, describe the types of investigation activities—such as Phase I environmental site assessments and regulatory compliance audits—performed as part of due diligence, and explain the attorney's role in the performance of these investigations.
