What Private Wealth Planners Need To Know About The EU's Mandatory Disclosure Directive DAC 6

Of Counsel Alan Granwell will be moderating a panel discussion on "What Private Wealth Planners Need To Know About The EU's Mandatory Disclosure Directive DAC 6" for a STEP Mid Atlantic Webinar. The panel will discuss the new EU Directive (DAC 6) which will impose mandatory disclosure of information by "intermediaries" with respect to potentially aggressive tax planning schemes with an EU cross-border element.

Mr. Granwell will focus the panel to overview the elements of DAC 6, explain when foreign tax planning may implicate U.S. criminal conduct and discuss how to navigate the DAC 6 requirements.

DAC 6 becomes effective July 1, 2020, but requires intermediaries to monitor their cross-border arrangements as of June 25, 2018.
