Mortgage Bankers Association Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference

Attorneys Bob Jaworski and Mark Melodia will be speaking at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference in New Orleans.

Mr. Jaworski will partake in the panel “Certified Mortgage Compliance Professionals Track: Introduction to Regulatory Compliance” on May 5 at 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. CT. The panel will look at an overview of the regulatory compliance profession and the key to success. The main ideas include compliance management system, the rulemaking process, key mortgage laws and more.

Mr. Melodia will be participating in the panel “Fintech/Regtech Track: Data Security and Privacy Update” on May 7 at 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. CT. This panel will discuss what the best practices are for data security within businesses, how to recognize developing threats and create an adaptable data security guidelines for your business.

MBA’s Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference will provide CLE credits for law students upon approval by the applicable state bar licensing entities.
