At 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Holland & Knight attorneys Robert Tompkins and Rodney Perry will present on ethics and compliance programs for government contractors. There have been important developments in this area, as discussed in recent posts addressing recent DOJ guidance and small business compliance programs on Holland & Knight's Government Contracts Blog.
In their Tuesday session, "Government Contractor Ethics and Compliance Programs – How to Meet the Government's Evolving Expectations and Improve Your Business," Mr. Tompkins and Mr. Perry will discuss these issues in greater detail. It has been 10 years since the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) mandated that government contractors establish ethics and compliance programs. Since then, the government has provided important guidance and direction about what contractors are expected to do to meet this requirement. This presentation will address how to enhance your ethics and compliance program to meet the government's expectations and in a way that achieves your business goals.
On Wednesday from noon to 5 p.m., Holland & Knight will hold a post-conference intensive session for ANC, Tribal and NHO management. The program, "SBA and Government Contracts Training: Effectively Managing Multiple Subsidiaries in the 8(a) Program and Beyond," will be presented by Holland & Knight attorneys Robert Tompkins, Walter Featherly, Christopher Slottee, Robert Misulich and Rodney Perry.
