Public Policy & Regulation Attorney Marissa Serafino will moderate a Boston Bar Association webinar discussion on creating and enforcing privacy laws. The conception of privacy has dramatically shifted, especially during 2020, with social media sites and companies under increasing pressure to be more transparent about how they are collecting and using data and with the increased use of connected devices to collect and monitor health data. As a result, several states are either considering or enacting comprehensive privacy legislation. In this webinar, speakers will discuss how to create lasting privacy laws that allow for advances in technology while still addressing consumer concerns.
