Small Business Subcontracting Plan Negotiation and Enforcement

Government Contracts attorney Amy Fuentes will moderate a virtual discussion providing updates on small business subcontracting plan negotiation and enforcement. Speakers will review recent case law where the subcontracting plan evaluation factor significantly affected the award decision as well as legislative reforms that could address issues like creating a stand-alone subcontracting evaluation factor for solicitations requiring subcontracting plans. The session will also cover challenges subcontractors face in "best in class" contracts and the negotiation and enforcement of plans. The webinar will be co-hosted by the Small Business & Other Socioeconomic Programs and Subcontracting, Teaming & Strategic Alliances committees of the American Bar Association's Section of Public Contract Law.
