Bonding Across Borders: Defense

Please join Public Policy & Regulation attorney Daniel Sennott for the next session in our U.S./EU webinar series, alongside Albi Alla and Guus Houttuin from the European-based government relations firm Alber & Geiger. During the session, Mr. Sennott, Mr. Alla and Mr. Houttuin will discuss and examine how the EU and the U.S. are approaching defense in the current political landscape.

Our speakers will cover the growing impact of EU defense institutions on lobbying efforts, as well as the influence of the new EU leadership's approach on defense policy. They will also explore the broad role of existing EU policies on dual-use imports and emerging technologies, such as drones and cybersecurity, and how these may impact collaboration with the U.S.

Furthermore, the session will address how industries from both Europe and the U.S. can navigate the evolving landscape, leverage new EU initiatives and identify potential areas of collaboration highlighted in the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (FY25 NDAA).
