Current Events in Federal Real Property Lunchtime Panel

Federal real property management used to fly under the radar of public policy. Not anymore! There were numerous public buildings reforms in the Water Resources Development Act that became law on January 5, 2025 – including the entire USE IT Act. President Donald Trump, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have also been very active in our sector with a flurry of related executive orders, pronouncements and even a new "wall of receipts" detailing canceled leases.
