Venture Capital and Private Equity

Corporate attorney Tim Poydenis, who co-heads Holland & Knight's Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice, will participate in the 2025 Utah Energy Week, hosted by the University of Utah, Utah State University and Idaho National Laboratory. The conference seeks to promote high-level discussions across multiple sectors on challenges and opportunities in the energy market, with a particular emphasis on Utah's potential to lead advancement in energy technology. Mr. Poydenis will join a panel examining the capital market's focus on energy investments and sharing how early-stage investors are approaching novel and existing technologies in this space. Speakers will provide an overview of various investment theses and analyze case studies of early-stage investments, as well as identify emerging market areas of interest. The session will also include a conversation among venture capital and private equity executives.
