CFIUS@50 Series, Part 3: U.S. and Global Trends on Foreign Investment Reviews

Please join Holland & Knight's CFIUS and Industrial Security Team for the third in a four-part event series on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and its 50th anniversary in 2025. International Trade attorney Andrew McAllister will be the moderator for this highly informative presentation.
During Part 3, "U.S. and Global Trends on Foreign Investment Reviews," the panelists will discuss:
- expanded jurisdiction and enforcement powers of CFIUS, especially under the 2025 "America First Investment Policy"
- heightened scrutiny of investments from countries deemed adversarial (e.g., China, Russia, Iran)
- European Union's tightened Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) reviews in strategic sectors
