Year-End Charitable Planning

Private Wealth Services attorneys Shari Levitan and Cara Santoro will offer a presentation on year-end charitable planning and giving strategies for the Desert Botanical Garden, a Phoenix, Arizona-based organization whose mission is to advance education around and conservation of the Sonoran Desert. Ms. Levitan and Ms. Santoro will provide a comprehensive overview of philanthropic giving rules, particularly new regulations introduced under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). They will review charitable income tax deductions, including the charitable contribution deduction limitations for itemizers and non-itemizers; charitable giving strategies, from qualified charitable distributions to appreciated stock; and planned giving opportunities.
