The now ubiquitous phrase “all politics is local” might be adapted to proclaim that “all estate and tax planning is local.” To be sure, the American Bar Association and specifically our Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section provide opportunities to interact with and work alongside attorneys across the country, learn via superb educational programming, and participate in and hopefully lead substantive or other committees.
