Colombia is experiencing a slowdown in investment in the mining and quarrying industries. One of the reasons for this is the worldwide drop in the price of oil; this has led to a slowdown in the exploration of hydrocarbon resources as well. The only possible way out is the development of unconventional reservoirs.
