Conducting Internal Investigations in the Time of COVID-19

White Collar Defense and Investigations Partners Wifredo Ferrer and Michael Hantman co-authored a Daily Business Review article on how they have altered interview strategies and procedures throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing and other health protocols, in addition to travel restrictions, have forced attorneys to re-think longtime strategies and rely on remote interviews. The authors share what they have learned in doing so, such as the importance of planning ahead when preparing to screen share and conducting pre-interviews to ensure witnesses have the necessary equipment and understand how the interview will proceed.
