Gender Equality in Law Firms

Senior Counsel Inés Elvira Vesga published in article in the Colombian-American Chamber of Commerce's (AmCham Colombia) Business Mail magazine titled "Gender Equality in Law Firms." In this article, she describes the equity and diversity policies necessary to advance the protection of women in all industries. Even though it is increasingly common to find women in business leadership positions, gender discrimination persists in other areas, including law firms. Ms. Vesga emphasizes that "in a society that is changing and is showing continuous changes and steps toward a more real gender equality, it is essential to continue to ensure the protection of women in all settings."
