Colombia held its congressional elections in March and voters will elect the next president in May. Enrique Gomez-Pinzon, executive partner in Holland & Knight´s office in Bogotá, said Colombia's economy is thriving and companies are learning that it is one of the most reliable countries to invest in in that region.

"The business community is confident that no matter which of the candidates is elected as president, the country's economy and security will remain favorable," Mr. Gomez-Pinzon said. "The truth is that, in spite of the fact we are in the middle of political campaigns, our business climate remains the same."
