GlobeSt.Com reached out to Holland & Knight attorneys for their insight on upcoming trends in real estate law.
Senior Counsel David Sofge said, “South Florida development will increasingly be attuned to the expansion of the local urban tech start-up scene, with a focus on Miami as the tech capital for Latin America, and also to the area’s growth as an international art market and destination.” Mr. Sofge is also betting marketplace lending, also known as P2P, will expand.
Partner Vivian De Las Cuevas-Diaz said, “In Miami, some of the most interesting opportunities will be found in urban redevelopment, in places that seemed non-viable before. As a result, developers who are willing to be creative with space will be rewarded.”
