In an interview with The New York Times, New York Real Estate Practice Group Chair Stuart Saft discusses the state of the real estate market, some of the deals he's working on, and his own investments in real estate.
"In all the years that I’ve been practicing law in New York I have never seen anything like this before. The volume, the amount of money that’s flowing into the city, it really is quite remarkable. In prior cycles we would typically do five, seven deals a year. We’ve been running at the rate of about 40 for the last two years," Mr. Saft said. "And there’s more in sight because I get called every day."
