“Do you want to settle the claims process? Or do you just want to let a plaintiffs lawyer come in and herd them all up and sue you?” Ms. Barnard said. “This is something you can think about in advance, but until you know the exact nature of the occurrence, it’s really hard to determine precisely what makes sense.”
