Toll Brothers Begins Demolition Of Sursum Corda Community, Plans 1,100-Unit Project

Bisnow

Real Estate Partner Leila Marie Jackson Batties was mentioned by Bisnow in their coverage of the demolition of the Sursum Corda Community. The low-income housing community has been selected by Toll Brothers for a redevelopment in which previous tenants will return too once the project is complete. Ms. Batties spoke at the Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 6E meeting on the development team's plan to modify the first stage Planned Unit Development (PUD) and file a second stage PUD for the first phase of the project. This modification came after Toll Brothers decided to take the originally planned two buildings and combine them into one larger building with an internal courtyard on the southeast portion of the site.

Ms. Batties stated that the first phase of the project will move forward on the southwest portion and include the first building with 136 units, all reserved for Sursum Corda residents to return to the community.
