Central Florida Attorneys Share Legal Actions on the Rise Heading Into 2022

Corporate attorney Glenn Adams spoke with the Orlando Business Journal about the hot button issues he expects to dominate the 2022 legal industry in Florida. He highlights how the labor market is changing as workers find new leverage to negotiate and how employers are reacting using trade secret laws. 

"The current labor market is producing an abundance of non-compete and trade secrets litigation. Workers have new leverage to negotiate benefits or find new opportunities, sometimes at the detriment of their existing employers," Mr. Adams said. "As a result, we are seeing employers more frequently turning to trade secret laws to protect their proprietary information. Interestingly, Florida has one of the most employer-friendly laws in the country in this area."
