Bogota Partner Inés Elvira Vesga was mentioned in an Asuntos Legales article about the gender gap in law firms in response to the annual rankings from Chambers and Partners. Ms. Vesga spoke about the importance of having inclusion and diversity within the legal community. She also insisted that these initiatives must be carried out from an ethical perspective and not as a marketing plan.

"Establish your inclusion and diversity policies from an ethical perspective and not as a marketing mechanism," she said. "Men and women have diverse and enriching perspectives that deserve to be taken into account, not with condescension or as a result of a trend or fashion."
